Jack Davis earlier commented that the color of the sky was khaki and dark. During the set of shots leading to this one, shooting at something else, I switched the white balance to 'shade' to see what it would look like. For that particular shot and this one, it looked nice and 'warm' in the camera's--and later in my notebook's--LCD. Getting back home a week later, I looked at it again in an CRT and yeah...it was dark and khaki. Now with time in my hands, I got back to the RAW files (I shoot PEF) and played around with the white balance.
