It's not a good photograph. That's for sure. This is a 100% crop, so the bird is tiny in frame. But ti's a bird I've never seen in Michigan. Of course, I'm not a dedicated birder, so take that with a grain of bird seed. It does look a bit like some of the terns I've seen in California. But different coloring and much chubbier. I could look it up in my bird book but that wouldn't be much fun. I'm sure someone here knows exactly what it is.
