Well-stated.
For those who might be interested, you can get many medium format folders for less
than $100US. Just a little more for a twin lens. (My son got a Rolleiflex 2.8C with
a few light marks on the taking lens for $175US! Nice camera. A Yashica-D runs about
$100US.)
Compare this to what you have in your 35mm outfits:
35mm body == $100 to $500
wide angle == $150
Normal == $100
Zoom == $200
It doesn't take much and soon you've got $500 to $1000 into your outfit.
Here's my challenge:
Sell one of your lenses, just one.
Get a TLR. Put it on a tripod.
Shoot some E-6 landscapes or C-41 portraits.
Have them processed and (C-41) printed 5x5 at your local "pro" lab. (no flames,
please)
Then, if you're happier with your 35mm results,
I'll offer a public apology.
Cheap experiment. But you'll love the results.

I expect I have mentioned this before, but I truly believe that
aspiring photo artists (and I think most on this group fit the
description in one way or another) owe it to their craft to use
medium format equipment.
I can work my tail off to get good results from 35mm, I can nail
down my exposure and process the film just right to make sure
the image is on the sweet part of the curve, and still not have
an image as technically good as a hack medium format negative
where I have barely paid attention to the meter, and sort of
half assed slopped the film around in the chemistry for a while.
