I can brighten/lighten the image variously or re-shoot it conveniently if 
necessary, but to be clear, I'd appreciate your defining the term "better 
light".
I thought a later raking shot would more clearly define the wood texture, but 
in this case I don't want the plant shadows it would produce. Is that your 
thought?
