Not the be rude, but don't hold your breath. If Pentax doesn't think there
is enough of a market to make it fly, then any of the K-mount-compatible off
brands won't even give it a go as they are basically trying to steal
marketshare from only Pentax anyway.
I suppose it is possible someone might try to put such a beast together
themselves, but that idea seems to have died a while back when people found
out how expensive the CCD chip was ($3500 for the Phillips CCD chip alone,
as I recall).
I suspect the best bet for the near future will to go with the products
that are already out. Unfortunately, I suspect won't include Pentax for
several years yet.
