I read it and sort of understand, but to be blunt, and perfectly clear about it, if the walk-in customer decides s/he is NOT served by the odd changes in marketing and servicing of old Pentax customers, he is just as likely to decide this might be the time to change the camera line... I question any tack that makes customers worry and wonder about the health of their chosen line of camera gear. Pentax have been pretty quiet as to what long term customers might expect from thie merger, and what little I have read, here and there has NOT been light and upbeat about it.
