Well, I must confess, Jaume, that I find the hype around new DA* lenses significantly more than actually there is to it.

It is therefore only logical to conclude that my wallet is perfectly safe with whatever funds one can find in there.

And although I do have one DA lens, the DA 21/3.2 limited to be precise, I don't feel any serious attraction towards DA lenses. My buying of this lens was rather the result of necessity than a deliberate choice out of more than one alternative.

I'd much rather be spending money on a full frame DSLR and there is always a chance that it will actually happen some day.

You know that you shouldn't make this sort of questions unless you have some
spare US$ 1,000, don't you?

Paul, can you please elaborate in what precisely aspects of image quality (or should I say print quality) your DA* lenses outperform the comparable film lenses?

Thanks.

Boris

My film lenses are fine on digital, but the DA* lenses are outstanding. I rarely use anything other than the 50-135 and 16-50 these days. They're fast and sharp, and the USM autofocus beats the screwdriver autofocus system hands down.

I should like to agree here.

My film limited lenses are swell on digital. Naturally, I should never want even to think about mounting DA 21 on my MZ-6.
