I like the general look of them, the "dark" aspect looks good on my screen. I do have a problem with the composition of the first one. I love the light on the leaves in the lower left. But the tree stump is just a bit too dark, it is hard to distinguish it from the dark water behind. Which contributes to the real problem I have - the area to the left of the stump, above the leaves. I can't tell what I am looking at. Water with reflections? The horizontal branches (?) contribute to the disorientation. I think the shot would have been better if you had not tried to get the cliff face into the picture. Instead, walk back and to your left about 3 meters, compose with the leaves and stump on the left edge of the photo.

Used custom curves from the latetst Izumi Taniguchi's online seminar, to emphasize dark-gray gradations. I deliberately wanted pictures be darker to have low-key magic in them. Comments are welcome.
