hi, i need help to identify a lens i bought some time back. it's 24mm/f.28 lens and goes by the name "Fotomat Series 35 MC". doesn't have an "A" setting and looks to be made of metal though it doesn't have the solid feel of the 'K' lenses.
googled a bit and found similar lenses on ebay for the olympus mount. but these don't give any idea of where or when they were made. also found out that fotomat was a chain of 1-day development photo kiosks in the US in the 1980s which was subsequently taken over by konica. but nowhere any mention of them having made lenses. got the lens very cheap, so there was no logical reason not to buy it. so would appreciate any info you may have. thanks and regards, subash -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
