Further searching of the EXIF data in Aperture on my three cameras (K100, K10, and K20) brings up some interesting information.

Using Aperture 2.x, my K100 stopped getting lens model data through to this software on August 25th. My K10 lens model data stopped as of July 17th. And my K20 has never presented Lens Model data to Aperture. No amount of going back and trying to get it out of the masters EXIF info has worked.

Just got off the phone with Pentax USA and they do not have an answer. But they are reading this forum, and in fact were reading my last post re: EXIF when the phone tech called them up with this problem. So our whines are heard. Good to know. (Hi guys!)

I'm off to call Apple Pro support and see if the recent upgrade(s) to Aperture 2.01 and then 2.1 have changed things. And I'll download PhotoME and make sure the info is there in the masters (which I do not import into Aperture, I just reference them).

More later.
