A few weeks back, I did a shoot of this fab band from Melbourne. Here's
a little Flash slideshow I jobbied up. Audio gives a bit of a better
impression of the atmosphere of their shows.

good job Derb, you're almost a filmmaker mate - just make the switch
from stills !

Techy notes - some of the images looked pixelated along high contrast
edges - they tended to be vertical shots. Also - I would prefer fewer
images with better pace on the mixes (dissolves). EG I assume you set
the mixes to what- 3 secs apart. I would personally 'feel' my way
through it, setting the mix points manually. I appreciate this takes up
much more time, and there may be limitations of the software.

Some very powerful shots there. You could do great damage with a good
low-light video camera ;)

Agree completely with the timing and the artifacts. I think I'm going to be spending more dollars on software to do this properly soon. It's pretty addictive fun.

Thanks to everyone who commented.
