When I used to visit my mother and late father in Halifax, Nova Scotia we'd go to a place called Point Pleasant, right next to a rather large container terminal. There were three cranes, like your photo, but I don't think they were as big. Mom and my sister would go for a walk on the beach or in the woods of Point Pleasant Park and if there was a ship at the terminal, Dad and I would sit there for hours, watching them load or unload the containers. It was like watching a ballet it was so well choreographed! Your photo reminded me of those times with my father, and for that I thank you! Cool photo, BTW! cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
