When I was a short lived hardware developer on the Apple ][+ platform,
and later when I formed a user group in Fredericksburg, VA, and later
when I was on the board of a large user group in Seattle, and when I
was a QC tester for Aldus on PageMaker, and later when I was a Mac
computer consultant, and when I worked Apple's booth's at several
MacWorlds, all my computers had any and all the software I needed or
wanted, costing me from $0.00 to $25.00 at most. Even my computers
were free or about 10% of list. As a developer, I suspect you are
offered may of the same privileges.
Now that I'm a retired spook who finished his career(s) driving a bus,
no one offers me anything. So I have to buy what I absolutely need, at
the best price I can get it for. And yes, if I absolutely have to have
something that would cost me over $418.27 (haven't yet) I know just
where to go to get it.
