I was getting frustrated at the time it was taking my PowerMac 8100 (G3 250MHz 178 MB RAM) to process large Photoshop files, let alone open the darned things in the first place, so started looking for a replacement for this aging but-still-very-capable Mac. Luckily I've found one: a G3 400 Blue and White with 512MB RAM!!! It was a good price so I did the deal and pick it up this Saturday.
It's all part of Cotty's Great Digital Plan (cue menacing 'Jaws' music...) to slowly but surely get things ready in the build up to the purchase of...wait for it (music builds to crescendo)...a Pentax Digital SLR!!!! (music stops abruptly with garish scratch) Okay, yeah yeah, I know you'll believe it when you see it, and so will I. But fer Pete's sake, we can all have a dream can't we? Anyone in UK want a cute little PowerMac 8100G3?? Delivered and installed? I'll even sit there and guide your fingers over the keys, you can have a nap.
