I'd forgotten about trick or treat. It's an Americanism that people of my generation deplore somewhat, so when some 8 or 9 year old ghouls and witches came knocking on my door last night I had nothing to give them (apart from whisky). So they shouted at me "You wiener!". I thought it was really funny. 'Wiener' is another American thing that we don't say over here, and I don't suppose they had any idea what one is.
