McAllister managed to make three untruthful statements either directly
or implied. He blamed the Republicans for conditions that it required
both political parties to create, stating outright that the Republicans
were dishonest and implying the Democrats were somehow better. Made an
economic/political prediction at variance with the historical facts, and
worse brought a Political discussion, which you know is a very stupid
thing to do, to this mailing list, and you say I'm frothing at the
mouth? Worse yet you say accuse me of being a Republican. You should
know better, I'd be a Libertarian if they weren't in my experience
either completely confused or bat shit crazy, since carrying their
philosophy to it's logical extreme creates as unlivable a society, and
you know they just have to do that. I could explain in detail why the
Democrats will screw things up even more than the Republicans have,
since they had a large hand in getting us where we are today, but you
wouldn't believe me, without charts and graphs mathematical proofs and
footnotes, and I haven't got the time. You know it's not just a
Democrat in the White House that's the problem but this particular one.
He's either a naive idealist and a complete fool, or the most cynical
man ever elected president. William Jefferson Clinton seems to hate his
guts, so I'm betting on the latter, but either one will be very bad. I
know no one will miss the Bush administration, well, not at least for 20
to 30 years, but then I never thought I'd miss the Clinton
administration either, until today.

I love it when there's a Democrat in the White House - I love to see Republicans
foaming at the mouth and getting really creative with their insults. It's one of
the things I've really missed during the Bush years. Democrats just can't cut it
when it comes to vitriol.
