The good Aussie hats aren't leather they're felted rabbit fur: http://www.akubra.com/products.html I have a suede stockman's' hat somewhere but never wear it. It's too hot when the sun is strong and I need it most. I just wear a ball cap or a bucket hat, which are soft and light enough to push up as I take a shot. For the rain I have this Drizabone oilskin hat: http://www.drizabone.com.au/Slouch-Hat-p-2710.html Regards, Anthony > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of > Godfrey DiGiorgi > Sent: Friday, 7 November 2008 11:44 AM > To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List > Subject: Re: Photographers hats > > > On Nov 6, 2008, at 9:11 AM, Cotty wrote: > > > On 6/11/08, Godfrey DiGiorgi, discombobulated, unleashed: > > > >> Style means nothing to a photographer.
