I have a suede stockman's' hat somewhere but never wear it.  It's too hot
when the sun is strong and I need it most.  I just wear a ball cap or a
bucket hat, which are soft and light enough to push up as I take a shot.
For the rain I have this Drizabone oilskin hat:
