Thanks to all who looked and/or commented on these images.

A few specific responses.....

Thanks Paul - I'm very conscious of trying to respect the intrinsic
value of the artworks, so I tried to make the images more than just
straight snapshots. It's not always easy because the backgrounds are
often distracting, and this particular event is so popular that
producing images that don't have protruding arms and legs in them is
challenging!

Firstly (and completely off topic) there's a few long faces here after
today's results in Nagpur....

The K200D is great! I'm completely knocked out by the added features
over the *istDS. When I went to buy it I has just about talked myself
into the K20D but the price of the K200D (less than half that of the
20D) just couldn't be ignored. Buying it meant that I could also get the
360FGZ flash as well. The restricted buffer isn't an issue for me and
the fact that it runs on AA batteries is also an advantage. The extra 4
MP of the 20D would have been nice but I'm happy! I'm completely amazed
that a camera with this level of features can be described as 'entry
level'.

Yes they should! It's being staged in Denmark in 2008. Maybe Lake
Michigan in 2010.....

You were probably otherwise engaged with 'Good Food Month' :-)>

Actually, getting to the event wasn't all that painful. Train to the
city, train to Bondi Junction, bus to Bondi, all for the princely sum of
$2.50 there and back (being a 'senior' does have the odd advantage).
Took just under two hours and arrived at Bondi just in time for lunch at
an Italian restaurant across from the beach. A few bottles of wine
later my colleagues and I staggered off on the walk. Shake reduction on
the K200 came in very handy!

Now that *would* distract the driver....

Thanks also to Ken, Bob and Dave.

Cheers
