AOL seems to be getting rid of many of the personal spaces since they
changed over to "free" accounts for those of us too cheap to pay for
what is free everywhere else.
The other day I tried to cancel my subscription that I've had since
their inception, without success. So I instead chose a free account,
and just added a half dozen new addresses associated with that account
to use when I want to sign up for something and don't want them to
sprinkle my mail with BS. I never check my AOL mail. Never.
Dated Nov 18th : Dear AOL Pictures User:
We are writing to remind you that, as of December 31, 2008, AOL will
no longer provide the AOL Pictures online photo service. If you have
not already done so, it is important that you choose from the options
described below prior to December 31, 2008. After this date, you will
no longer be able to access your images through AOL Pictures.
And they deleted all web pages last year with very little notice.
Phooey on them...

AOL has apparently gotten rid of members' ftp spaces (which was a

This is nothing great, just the first PDML posted photo in a long
time. And
the first in a new series that I am starting, simply called
