The BBC seems to technologically challenged. I have the same problem, why youtube which uses a similar flash based system works fine. Some organizations are just too smart by half.

I never can get any of these BBC links to play. I can see the video box, but when I click on the little arrow-head to play the video all I get is the initial still image with a dot chasing itself around in a circle and sometimes a message in the lower left of my browser window that it's downloading data from some URL.
