I for one almost refuse to take photographs anywhere near my home, because of the maze of overhead wires that, to me, obscure the views.

I'm spoiled from living in Fredericksburg, VA, where all the utilities were underground. Even the utilities will tell you that once buried, underground is the way to go. Less outages, less maintenance, and a more pleasant environment. My wish is that they could get this task accomplished in my lifetime. But in the intervening 20 years, little has been done anywhere I go.

How about it Obama? Let's beautify the USA by getting rid of these eyesores!
