Thanks Bob. Yes, we had a very nice day. And we'll do a rerun of Thanksgiving dinner tonight. It's always better the second day:-).

I'm experimenting with wireless flash, held in hand. Some nice effects are possible, and I want to employ it in candid wedding photography. Here's an example where it worked fairly well. The flash with lightsphere mounted is held off to the right of camera as far as I could reach, while I shot with my left hand. Unfortunately, I blew the framing, but the shot illustrates one nice off-camera lighting possibility:

Paul,
Grace is charming as usual.
Flash worked well with that lightsphere.
I've got to try some off camera flash.
Hope you and your family had a great turkey day.
Regards, Bob S.

A few pics of Grace from today. All are with the K20D and the 540 flash with the lightsphere. The third one is in wireless flash mode with the flash handheld off to the right of camera a couple of feet. The first is f4.5, 1/45th and 29mm, the second is wide open at f2.8, 1/30th and 33mm, the third
is at f3.6, 1/45th and 34mm.
