Thanks for looking and commenting, Marnie. An interesting thing happens when you shoot an event professionally. You become invisible. Because of that I was able to move in and out of the opposing camps, and be a fly on the wall rather than a participant in events. When I haven't got a professional motive to be somewhere, I've noticed that I become part of the scene and an influence upon it, whereupon self-consciousness inhibits me from getting the best shots.
