RIck - I'm enjoyng the train station ones especially -- although I'm not crazy about fish eye shots (i.e., I'd never use a fish eye lens myself - I hardle ever use wide angle)

I like the minamalist corner of the arch the best of those - when I went to the Arch it
was just after the 1993 flood... quite a different surrounding area then.

Thanks, Christine!

Still a few St Louis pix to show; then next week I'd like to post a few from
the UK (if I can get some time to process them).

Hi Rick: Reflection is very, very nice. It's my fav of
the 4. I'm less keen on the other three not because
they are not technically good--they are--just that I'm
not so keen on the content. Still, you've an excellent
run of shots going here. It's been great to see your
pics from your recent travels. Cheers, Christine

Four views of St. Louis's best-known landmark:

Reflection:
http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=8317497
(K10D, DA 16-45, polarizer, ISO 400, f/9.5 @ 1/90,
handheld, RAW via LR2)
Minimalist:

(same everything, but f/19 @ 1/30. I have no idea why
I used that exposure...)
Sort of abstract:

http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=8317489&size=lg
(DA 50-200, polarizer, ISO 400, f/5.6 @ 1/125. More
sensible.)
Southern base minimalist:

(DA 16-45, polarizer, ISO 280, f/5.6 @ 1/90)

Stories that Illinois (across the river) was going to
erect a giant statue of Lincoln holding a croquet mallet are
entirely apocryphal.
