Today I purchased a K-1000 which had a sticker on the box stating "CLASS
II".
The warranty card also had the "CLASS II" designation printed on the
card; not a stamp or stick on but a part of the original printing.
What's the significance of this designation? The camera is one of the
later Asahi Pentax AOCo ones which was assembled in Hong Kong. The cash
register tape for the sale indicates state sales tax so I'm sure it was
not a PX/BX/NEX sale.
My searches via Google were futile.
Just curious. :-)
