(Note: It's just a big photo of a full moon, there's really nothing that
special about it aside from the moon being in the news yesterday.)
Recently I discovered the sharpness "sweet spot" in my Pentax 500mm 4.5 is
at f11. Last night featured what was apparenly the largest full moon of the
year, so I went out and shot it when it was almost straight above me.

This image, shot with my K10D, is 800x800. If I had left the crop at 100%,
it would have been 919x919. I applied some unsharp mask to reduce
atmospheric blur, but I may have overdone it a bit. I truly wish I could
find an affordable teleconverter that wouldn't make my 500 look like it had
vaseline on the front element.
Anyway, this was just for fun. I'm not expecting comments or anything, but
thanks for looking. :)
