A 645D that doesn't sell for less than a Canon 5D mk II and make a profit doesn't earn back the initial investment.

It's really stupid to announce a new product or model during the holiday
season.  Any company would prefer consumers get their old model off the
shelves during the busiest shopping season of the year and not have them
second-guess their purchases when something better is announced.

Thus, I'm beginning to doubt that anything truly significant will be
announced this week.
