I experimented with the "fill light" tool in LightRoom - but it ended
up screwing too much with the light and contrast up in the sky, so I
only bumped it up just a bit. If a person wanted to get tricker with
masks and layers, I suppose it could be done. But I'm sort of a
purist... other than cleaning up spots on the sensor and fiddling with
levels and light balance, I'm not one much for "faking" how it
looked. I'd be happy to send you the raw image if you want to fiddle
with it yourself, though!
