Shall I tell you what amazes me about the modern world?

Over here in Britain there's a TV programme which I've never seen called The
X Factor, which is a talent show. The winner was chosen this weekend, and
the timing of it is such that the winner will almost certainly have the
Christmas Number 1 record in the popular music charts, which is a big deal
with the tabloid-reading members of society.

Fine.

But apparently she is going to be singing a Leonard Cohen song, Hallelujah!

Leonard Cohen having the Christmas number 1 single?

WTF?

What's happening?

Anyway, that's good for our Lenny, who could use the break right now.

Bob
