I thought of that... and after setting up the camera and hitting the trigger for the 2-second delay, I stepped away and to the side to watch the oncoming traffic while the exposure was being made.
It would have been sad to watch a car come up and smack into the K10D on the tripod, but.... better than hitting ME!
