Not necessarily so.  Might the ploy be to encourage more usage - processing --
for "cheap film" and encourage use of K film  where competitive product might
have been used otherwise........and protect list pricing during what me a rather
slow period for sales?    Kodak seems to have had a hard time over the last few
years, I keep hoping they'll do better.
