Simple horizontal folding camera. No body release, no double exposure prevention. Early models have accessory shoe on right side, later models above finder. Coated Agnar f4.5/85mm in synchronized Vario or Pronto; cheap model has uncoated Agnar f4.5/85mm in synchronized Vario. Export version called Ventura 66. From 1952 sold in USA as Ansco Speedex. Collector value $30-45." As an aside, the Guide is a great reference - nearly 900 pages and thousands of cameras listed and described in brief. At over $100, the money might be better spent on Pentax (what else) equipment, but mine comes as an Xmas gift from my son when a new edition appears. I am willing to quote information from my copy to anyone in the group. Best regards and Happy Holidays, Ed Matthew Indianapolis - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
