Pentax SMC filters are printed with "SMC". HOYA have 2 types of multicoated filters - HMC and HMC Super. The latter is hardcoated on both sides for better duriability. I have used HOYA HMC and Pentax SMC only, not the HMC Super. HMC is difficult to clean and cleaning marks are impossible to avoid. SMC is better than HMC, but could be difficult to clean also. However, SMC is much more flare resistance than HMC. Not sure about HMC Super. Those regular HOYA double-coated filters are pretty good as well (very easy to clean).
