I know many of you have said that you have sworn off any contact with
Outdoor Photography, but I find that even the most basic of "how to"
and "what to avoid" articles give me some things to think about...
The current (Jan/Feb 2009) issue has two mentions of Pentax. In one
article Kerrick James talks about photography in Alaska. Early in the
article he talks about " a rare 250-600mm f/5.6 ED zoom" (hmmm, I
thinks to myself). Then a bit later he acknowledges that he is "a
rare pro shooter who has used Pentax optics and bodies in both
formats since the very beginning." Then goes on to discuss the K20D
briefly, with special mention of the weather-sealed DA* lenses.
The K20D also gets equal billing in a discussion of the major DSLR's
and their suitability for shooting B&W.
