I couldn't live without the battery grip. My typical virtual tour job is about 400 exposures and quite a bit of checking histograms. And I have to use the wireless remote since my f13 exposures are typically one second or thereabouts. I carry minimal equipmet the camera, the DA*16-50, my tripod with the pan head an a bubble leve. My goal is two hours per shoot. So with the grip I finish with one set of batteries and my remote is always at hand. I'm doing three or four a week these days. I love my battery grip!
