I couldn't live without the battery grip. My typical virtual tour job is about 
400 exposures and quite a bit of checking histograms. And I have to use the 
wireless remote since my f13 exposures are typically one second or thereabouts. 
I carry minimal equipmet the camera, the DA*16-50, my tripod with the pan head 
an a bubble leve. My goal is two hours per shoot. So with the grip I finish 
with one set of batteries and my remote is always at hand. I'm doing three or 
four a week these days. I love my battery grip!
