I very recently tried this film, based on what I read earlier on this list. I have used it mainly inside with flash fill-in, but some shots outside as well. I really like this film, it shows very nice with portraits.
I also tried to scan it with my ACER Scanwit2720S and Vuescan. Most scans have a magenta cast, that can be corrected somewhat in PhotoShop, but at the expense of for instance the hair of my subject victims. I have scanned those shots with the original driver, and they came out much better to my surprise. I did use the Portra 160NC setting in Vuescan, for the original driver I used Kodak 100-5 or so, it doesn't have many settings, and certainly not one for Portra.
