The K2 DMD is a great camera, with a few improvements over the non-motor drive K2 body. I owned both at one time, and even had the motor drive for the K2 DMD. The motor drive was big, heavy and clunky, and at 2 fps, rather slow. Mine was fitted with the MX NiCd battery so I didn't need the cylinder battery back a la the KX motor drives and the Spotmatics before them. I'd be very careful about any K2 however, since their electro-mechanical shutters are no longer supported by Pentax. I was told that once they fail they're unusable in Auto mode [unless you can find a repair shop with the right parts]. Nevertheless, I wouldn't pass on the deal because the two lens you mentioned are easily worth $240 USD. Good luck, Bob - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
