Hi Brian: I like both!--with maybe #1 a bit more. I see that little stick
thing (in 1) as a kind of scout that's pointing the right direction but
being slightly ignored by the birds :-). I agree with others who said the
midrange lights need to be bumped up a bit. By the by, when I saw your PESO
slug line, I half hoped to see a lady camel rider headed towards western
Australia--Tracks by Robyn Davidson is 1 of my great favorites in travel
writing. Have you read it? Anyway--both are lovely--just give'm a bit-a
light--they could get lost walkin in the dark there :-). Cheers, Christine

Subject: PESO - Tracks
G'day all
I'm looking for a bit of PDML objectivity with these two images -
because I've lost mine. I've been looking at the damn things for so
long, I oscillate between thoughts of "not bad" and "what a crock of
s**t"..... and back again.
These are similar images taken at dusk on a south coast beach (New South
Wales). I've given up on colour renderings (dirty colours, noisy), so
mono conversion is the last straw.
Comments and (particularly) suggestions most appreciated.
