Almost, but not quite. The black & white path across the road is a zebra
crossing. The stripey pole with the yellow light on top is a Belisha beacon.

We also have pelican crossings, toucan crossings and, to the amusement of
many tourists, humped zebra crossings.

It's mostly in London that drivers treat pedestrians who use these things as
an affront to their moral superiority.
