NOW, I have seen the original :-)

The redo is an improvement. The lines needs some space to "breathe".

It is your shot. But if it where mine, then I would have tried taking
the best of both versions.
The framing of the redo, combined with a lesser boost of the colours.
In the redo, the foreground wins the battle of my attention.
Hope this feedback makes sense.
