Coldest I've ever been in (in a way) was the -99C I saw on the Aeroflot outside temperature guage somewhere over western Siberia on February night. I don't think the gauge had three digits, so it might have been colder. Only lasted about 20 minutes before it went back to the more normal -~50C. Was somewhat worrisome as jet fuel starts to gel at about -70C. > > On Tue, Jan 13, 2009 at 7:08 PM, ann sanfedele <[email protected]> wrote: > > It will be interesting to hear who got snaps in the cold snap... the best > > shot in the cooooldeeest place... etc. > > > > The coldest temp I've ever been in was when I lived in Orono, Maine... it > > twice got down to 40 below F., colder > > than in all the 21 years I lived in Chicago (from birth to first marriage) > > - I think... > > > > ann > > > > > > > > -- > > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > > [email protected] > > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and > > follow the directions. > > > > > > -- > Equine Photography > www.caughtinmotion.com > http://brooksinthecountry.blogspot.com/ > Ontario Canada > > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > [email protected] > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
