Many people that I know confuse the terms "zoom" and "telephoto". I find that slapping them helps.

So I write and say " just FYI so you don't get in trouble -- this is a Prime lens not a zoom... So he writes back and thanks me, but says he looks it up and it isn't a prime it's a telephoto. I wrote again -- he took down the listing because he said he didn't want to mess up - and thanked me again... and said "thats what you get for hurrying..."
