Interesting catch, Marnie. Hope you're illness is left well behind.

Thanks, Jack. Not actually IN Sacramento, but Walnut Creek.

Yeah, it was a grab. Line of cars with light about to change, so I only got
one shot. He didn't like me taking his picture (which I don't blame him for,
at all), so he turned his head. Which probably made for a stronger photo
anyway.

Good photo! Contrast ok for me, framing correct but since you're willing
to clone something, I'd lose that part of the sign - the point beyond
the rounded margin. No need to.

Thanks, Luis. See comments to frank, below.

Okay, seriously, that's a hell of a photo!

A nit (and maybe it's just me, and believe me this is a teensy thing).

I'd have cropped out the bottom of the shield of the state highway
system at the top left. And I'd have either cropped out the S of
Sacramento or left it in in it's entirety. I don't know if you've
shown us full frame or not, so perhaps it's not possible to show us
the whole "S". I also think that if you put the whole "S" in there it
might wreck the balance of the pic, so really I think that cropping it
out in it's entirety might be better. I hope you don't mind, but
here's what I'm thinking:

Maybe I'm being too picky.

It's a hell of a photo as you presented it!!

cheers,

Thanks, frank. Yes, not full frame, it is a crop. Didn't get all of S,
because didn't have a lot of time to frame and was concentrating on him.

I might see if I can crop the rest of the S off. Although I like having more
distance in front of him than in your crop -- he was trying to maintain his
dignity and the distance helps with that. But since I cropped off a little
top and sides, might be able to move the crop to the right a bit. I'll play
with it. Thanks for taking the trouble to show me what you meant.
