I went running with my Saturday morning crew today. We started at 8:00 a.m.
when it was either -14 F or -9 F, depending on whose car thermometer you
believe. Nowhere near hard-core Canadian temps but plenty cold enough for
me. Thankfully the roads were clear and there was no wind. We cut it short
to about 12.5 miles instead of out usual 14-15 and it had warmed up to about
+1 F by the time we finished. Mid-way through the run Sue's hair was
completely frosted and quite wild looking. It had thawed considerably by the
time these photos were taken.

Here's a composite shot from a few quick snaps after the run:

Late looking at these, but great shots!!

Those are cool temps by Toronto standards, but Wheatfield would break
out the tanning butter at such mild temps. ;-)

I've got two week's worth of beard on my face, so next time it's cold
I might have a bit of frost on my face on my ride to work!

That was a brief bout of cold for us: Today, a mere 6 days later, it reached 50 degrees F here! (It was in the 40's yesterday) For my run today I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt...
