I've printed on Epson Glossy Film, which is somewhat subtle compared to
papers, but very attractive in its own way. However, it's quite opaque
and won't project. But I think there are some transparency stocks as
well. I have never tried printing on them, but I believe they're
intended for use with overhead projectors (like the teachers used to use
in classrooms.)
