I am putting together a calendar for myself and decided to also make it for a friend as a belated bday present (belated since Jan is almost gone).
Rather humbling, trying to get 12 good photos together. :-) Limiting myself to landscapes shot in California, I found all my GOOD redwood shots were vertical (portrait orientation). The design I am using I am putting in just horizontals (landscape orientation). I really wanted one of Redwoods so I dug and dug and came up with this. I might do better now, but back then every time I shot in the deep Redwood grove and got the light in the background, the background blew out. (Probably go for multiple exposures now.) 2006 Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park (northern Northern CA).
