Bran reminds me that Shel was involved in a Bay Area group that got some disadvantaged people involved in photography. I recall that several years ago he asked the list to donate any old lenses/bodies that they had kicking around (I donated the Takumar "bayonet" 135mm "bow-wow special". ;-) I actually thought it was a pretty good lens, but since I'd just bought a K 2.5 135mm (from Shel!) it was expendable. But I digress...
