Hello to All, My brother has been in electronics for over 25 years and he told me there is "No Way" that a rechargable could damage a camera motor. Rechargables always have a little less voltage than the regular batteries they replace. (1.25 volts to 1.5 volts for instance) To settle the issue, I have been using rechargables in my AA holder on my ZX5n and have had No Problems.
