Problem (as you well know) with the "from the hip" shot is that the
camera often doesn't choose what we might to focus on.

#2 would be amazing if that front eye was what was focused on.  As is,
it's still a neat shot.

#1 doesn't do so much for me as that hand obscures her face, including
her eye, which is what I'd like to see most.

Interesting stuff, though...
