I went for a walk in the woods on Saturday down to Patten Pond, which
is a small lake near our home. Took a few shots of rocks, lichen and
snow before spotting a bald eagle circling on the far side of the
lake (a few hundred yards away). All I had with me was my FA 135 and
a 2X teleconverter (on my ZX5n) which was not enough reach, really,
but I fired off a half a roll of Provia anyway before it flew behind
some trees. Bald eagles are monster birds.

I've used the 200 for snapshots in the past. I've gone back to
slides, mostly, now.
